Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Hours per week: 40

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certifications: NY License in Hand, BLS, Board Certified

Experience: Minimum of 1 year Urology experience; Epic experience preferred

Work Schedule: Primarily outpatient, with inpatient consults, procedures, and post-op rounding as needed

Patient Load: Approximately 20 patients per day per provider

Inpatient/Outpatient: Outpatient focus with inpatient consults; adult patients only

Procedures: Limited robotic availability; more info forthcoming

Call Schedule: Flexible, 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient urology care for adult patients
• Perform consultations and follow-ups for inpatient and outpatient cases
• Conduct outpatient procedures, including surgeries and post-op care
• Collaborate with hospital staff on inpatient consults and emergency care
• Participate in call coverage (flexible based on availability)
• Manage a patient volume of around 20 patients daily
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and maintain accurate documentation
• Support multidisciplinary team efforts to deliver high-quality patient care

What You Need

• Valid NY medical license in good standing
• Board Certification in Urology
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• BLS certification
• Epic EMR experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have no gaps exceeding 30 days in employment history

About the Assignment This position is with a leading facility in Potsdam, NY, dedicated to providing exceptional outpatient urology services. The outpatient clinic hosts four exam rooms and primarily handles adult patients. You'll be part of a collaborative team, supporting inpatient consults, outpatient procedures, and post-op care, with scheduling flexibility to meet personal availability.
