Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced New York Property & Casualty Licensed Insurance Professional to join our expanding agency. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals who excel in relationship building, consultative sales, and assisting clients in safeguarding their homes/property, businesses, and assets.

As a valued member of our team, you will engage with potential and current clients to evaluate coverage requirements, offer customized insurance solutions spanning personal and commercial lines, and contribute to the growth of the agency, all while benefiting from the support of a seasoned team and well-established carrier partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients
• Conduct thorough coverage assessments and identify insurance needs
• Deliver tailored Property & Casualty insurance solutions for personal and small-business segments
• Acquire new business through referrals and outreach activities; prepare quotations
• Handle applications, endorsements, renewals, and policy adjustments
• Address client inquiries and resolve service-related issues
• Collaborate with carriers, underwriters, and agency personnel
• Stay informed about New York insurance regulations and market developments
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards
• Maintain precise records in agency management and CRM systems
• Specialize in General Liability and Personal Lines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Active New York Property & Casualty Broker License (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance sales or account management (required)
• Thorough understanding of carrier guidelines and insurance coverages
• Knowledge of fundamental finance concepts related to premiums, deductibles, and risk management
• Proficiency in AMS360 and Microsoft Office
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and client relationship abilities
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to follow-through
• Capability to work on-site full time in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, and collaborate effectively within a small team
• Prior experience in an insurance agency or a related financial services environment is preferred

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Pay: $70,000 – $100,000 per year, in addition to bonus and advancement prospects
