Key Responsibilities\n- \n

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated and holistic patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support, ensuring that clients in immediate distress receive timely and appropriate care. \n
- Educate patients on mental health issues, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to promote informed decision-making about their care. \n
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to stay abreast of the latest research in mental health treatment. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- Hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Possess current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, or equivalent in the state of New York. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities. \n
- Proven expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and designing effective treatment plans. \n
- Experience in providing individual and group therapy, showcasing the ability to cater to a diverse clientele. \n
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients. \n
- Commitment to ethical standards and professional boundaries in all patient interactions. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms. \n
- An aptitude for teamwork, contributing positively to a multidisciplinary work environment. \n
While a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with a Master’s or doctoral degree who have hands-on experience in outpatient settings or telehealth environments may be given preference. Additional credentials in specialized therapy modalities or certifications will enhance your application.
