During this assignment running from August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, you’ll work Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week, with a caseload ranging from 15-18 middle and high school students, primarily supporting those with high levels of autism or significant learning differences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state license in Adapted Curriculum for Special Education (required for Discovery School)
• Experience working with middle and high school students with autism or extensive learning needs
• Familiarity with resource and inclusion settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction to students following extended content standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, therapists, and other educators
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans and behavioral interventions
• Maintain IEPs and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
