Position Overview Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Atlanta, GA. Compensation and Benefits $1,350 per week guaranteed (weekly pay) $28.00 per hour Hours: 40+ per week, variable schedule Loyalty bonus of $1,200 (paid $600 after 6 months and $600 after 1 year) Paid training Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days 80 hours paid time off in first year (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided 401(k) rollover available now, company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligible based on tenure) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Responsibilities Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs Load and unload freight or assist as required by customer Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum age 21 years Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and DOT physical Pass Ryder road test Class A experience: 9 months within last 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years Ability to follow written or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies EEO Statement Ryder is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
