Job Description Location: San Francisco, CA – Financial District Technology Company Schedule: Multiple shifts - Multiple schedules Must have 5+ Years security experience with active guard card. Must have full availibility to work multiple shifts and schedules. Must be technology savvy and comfortable utilizing various security and workplace systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must demonstrate a professional, polished demeanor and be comfortable interacting with clients, visitors, and executives in a customer-facing environment. Strong presentation skills and the ability to represent both the client and organization professionally are essential. Perks: Competitive Pay, Weekly and Daily Pay, Growth Opportunities, and Benefits Package Pay: $40.95 / hour Allied Universal® is hiring a Custom Protection Officer (CPO) Flex Officer. The Custom Protection Officer Flex Officer will conduct armed and/or unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior). Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. The Custom Protection Flex Officer will work at various assignments and may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Must possess one or more of the following Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed) Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.*A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public Effective oral and written communication Problem solving Active listening Assess and evaluate situations effectively Identify critical issues quickly and accurately Compile, sort, and interpret data Research, investigate, compile information Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Write informatively, clearly, and accurately Teamwork Attention to detail

Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
