Paramedic (EMT-P)

Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, develop Center Physician standing orders, and transport donors to emergency care facilities. Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues, donor safety, and eligibility. Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation with occupational health/ER; refer to EHS guidance regarding incidents. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats within the local community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate‑equivalent recognized educational nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned (EMT‑Paramedic). Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfil state requirements for basic IV therapy. Complete FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Compensation & Benefits Location: USA – WI – Greenfield Hourly wage range: $25.60 – $35.20. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location and will meet state or local minimum wage requirements.
