Manufacturing Production Engineer

Job Description:

• Looking for a motivated Production Engineer to join our team to help support operations with the assembly, test, certification, and shipment of our optical, resistivity, and thin-film thickness measurement systems

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between production and design engineering, facilitating the successful transition of new products into manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for yield enhancement and cycle time reduction, implementing solutions to optimize production efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of product failures, identifying root causes and collaborating with the team to implement corrective actions.
• Create and refine work instructions and operational procedures to ensure clarity, simplicity, and efficiency in production workflows.
• Utilize ERP systems for managing bills of materials and material movement, ensuring effective tracking and organization within the production environment.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in the development of production documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of manufacturing processes and process improvements.
• Experience developing and implementing Quality, SPC, and Safety systems.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining accurate BOM and cost information.

Skills:

• Manufacturing background
• Mechanical /Electrical /Optical exp.
• Engineering Production
• CAD/SolidWorks
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Education:

• A bachelor's degree (required), master's or advanced degree (desired) in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Systems Engineering or Physics/Materials Science.
