Phlebotomist

Job Title Phlebotomist – Labcorp, Torrance, CA Location & Schedule 23456 Hawthorne Blvd, Ste 290, Bldg 5, Torrance, CA 90505. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with rotating weekends and occasional travel to additional sites. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Enter patient information accurately and promptly into the electronic system. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications California state Phlebotomy license (CPT). 6months or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at Labcorp. Additional Job Standards Application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. At least 1year of phlebotomy experience with geriatric and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay & Incentives Hourly rate: $25.00 – $33.00 per hour. Eligible for the quarterly incentive bonus program.
