Garage Door Install Crew Member

$18 - $26 per hour

Job Description

We are searching for a garage door installer who is knowledgeable, experienced, and detail-oriented to help us grow our team. You will take the necessary measurements and follow the manufacturer's instructions to install garage doors and operators in homes and businesses. You will also have to work to figure out what's wrong with current systems and work with customers to provide solutions. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills. This position will need to communicate effectively, work together with a team, and be able to problem-solve quickly and effectively. $18 - $26 hourly

Responsibilities:

Carry, lift and/or move heavy objects overhead with assistance as required
Keep a list of completed projects and the materials utilized, and add to the database
Before starting the project, make sure you have read the instructions for all of the products to be installed
Inform customers how to operate and care for their new equipment in the correct manner
Ensure that all relevant policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures are adhered to at all times

Qualifications:

Superb abilities in relating to others, communicating clearly, and customer service
Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in construction, maintenance, or a related industry
High level of proficiency in math, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean traffic record
