Schedule: Night Shift; 7:00 PM-7:30 AM.

About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Corvallis, Oregon. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of non-critical, urgent, and emergent medical conditions, including behavioral health needs.


The role requires strong emergency nursing assessment, critical thinking, trauma, cardiac, and pediatric care skills in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Epic is used for electronic medical records.


Responsibilities

• Assess and triage Emergency Department patients and prioritize care based on clinical condition and acuity.
• Provide nursing care to patients with urgent, emergent, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and behavioral health needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed emergency nursing interventions while monitoring patient response.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and collaborate promptly with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic while supporting safe transitions and continuity of care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse Experience Required.
• Current, Unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse License Required at Time of Submission.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
• Current PALS and TNCC Certifications Required.
• Verification of High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Ability to Work Night Shifts, Rotating Weekends, and Required Holiday Coverage.
