Software Engineer III - Asset Management

Responsibilities Write secure and maintainable code that powers one of CrowdStrike’s flagship products Collaborate with others across multiple teams to brainstorm, research, and build solutions that are driven by our Product roadmap Build, maintain, and improve backend microservices written in Golang Launch and support features that will be used by millions of users around the world Understand business and engineering requirements so that you can be proactive in sharing ideas and solutions Constantly be aware of our customers and keep them front of mind while planning and releasing features Have a strong focus on quality of code through best practices, testing, logging and metrics Have the autonomy to own your work in a high trust environment Requirements A minimum of 5+ years of overall software engineering experience A minimum of 3+ years in Golang, Kafka, Cassandra, or similar Production-level experience in building, delivering, and maintaining systems at scale Expertise in distributed systems, platform services, mirco-service architectures, multi-region architectures, software development best practices, observability and reliability engineering Expertise in scalability such as queues, concurrency, sharding, partitioning, etc. Hands-on daily experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cloud code or similar platforms Proven ability to integrate AI into daily workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible usage practices A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture Multiple years of experience debugging complex issues at every level of the stack The ability to work independently, but also collaboratively Bonus Docker and Kubernetes experience Prior experience in the cybersecurity industry #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
