Job Description
Residential HVAC Service Technician
Residential HVAC Service Tech – $33–$38/hr + Incentives | $80K–$100K+ Potential | Take-Home Truck | No Layoffs | Locally Owned, Veteran-Owned
You're a real service tech. You diagnose, you fix, you don't swap units and guess. You're good, and your current shop knows it. So why are you still there?
We're a locally owned, veteran-owned One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning franchise opening two territories in Murray, Sandy and the surrounding area. New shop, national brand, no legacy politics. You'll help set the standard from day one.
Why Techs Are Talking To Us
- Year-round work. Heating in winter, cooling in summer, maintenance memberships in between. No seasonal layoffs.
- Incentives that pay you for doing the job right: service commission, membership and accessory spiffs, replacement lead bonuses. Zero-callback bonus every month you keep it clean.
- Take-home van, phone, tablet, uniforms. Dispatch from home.
- A real promotion ladder. We're growing, and we promote from inside.
- Owner who answers the phone. No corporate layers.
Career track: Service Tech → Senior Tech → Lead → Service Manager
What You'll Do
- Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Diagnose malfunctions and determine the extent of necessary repairs
- Give homeowners honest recommendations. Never oversell.
- Keep a neat work area and inspect it after every job
- Wear floor savers in the client's home
- Maintain a clean, stocked company vehicle
- Drive and work safely, every day
What You Bring
- 3+ years residential HVAC service experience (service, not install only)

Compensation
$33.00–$38.00 per hour, plus performance incentives. Earning potential $80K–$100K+ for strong performers.
