Services Offered: 3D Laser Scanning, Controls & Automation, Construction Management, Design & Drafting, Engineering: Civil/Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Functional Safety, Information Technology, Instrumentation, On-Site Services, Operations & Commissioning Support, Procurement, Project ManagementSalmon is currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team.Position Type: Full-timeLocation: Houston, TXWork Environment/Physical Demands: Office/SedentaryTravel Requirements: Occasional site visitsEssential Functions:Coordinate multi-discipline engineering and design activitiesCommunicate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status, and technical interface issues.Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installationWork with other engineers, designers, construction QA/QC, and contractorCheck drawings and calculations.Visit client sites to evaluate the site, project requirements, and conditions.Requirements:B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.5 - 15 years of mechanical engineering experience.2+ years of project engineer experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.Attention to detail.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.Experience Preferred :Professional Engineering license.Previous plant facilities experience preferred.Previous experience in oil & gas industry.
