Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Runner / Installation Assistant to support our technicians in the field. This role is responsible for transporting parts and materials, assisting with HVAC and refrigeration installations, and providing logistical and hands-on support at job sites. The ideal candidate has experience with route driving, warehouse operations, and interest or experience assisting skilled trades. Key Responsibilities Drive a box truck to deliver parts, equipment, and materials to job sites, customers, and warehouses Assist HVAC/R technicians with installations , including staging materials, setting up work areas, and handling tools and equipment Load, unload, and securely transport parts and materials Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment safely Support installation teams by moving equipment, holding components, and performing basic mechanical support tasks as directed Use a manual transmission vehicle when required, including in heavy traffic Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and work areas Complete delivery and job-site documentation accurately and on time Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, technicians, and customersFollow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required) Experience in route driving, delivery, or courier services Ability to assist with HVAC/R installations or willingness to learn hands-on technical tasks Forklift experience preferred Ability to operate a manual transmission Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing job-site needs Preferred Skills Commercial driving Box truck operation Assisting technicians with installations #J-18808-Ljbffr Quick Servant Co Inc
