Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to join a hospital clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, and Microbiology, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols

• Conduct Blood Bank procedures including type & screen, crossmatch, and antibody identification

• Perform testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Urinalysis

• Analyze and verify laboratory results with accuracy and attention to detail

• Maintain quality control and quality assurance standards

• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation

• Document findings accurately in EMR/LIS systems

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff regarding critical values

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related science

• ASCP Certification (MT or MLS) 

• Minimum 2 years recent hospital laboratory experience

• Strong Blood Bank experience (if required by facility)

• Ability to work independently on assigned shifts
