Details Inpatient oncology unit specializing in cellular therapy treatments Provides autologous transplant, allogeneic transplant, CAR-T, and TILS cellular therapy treatments Administers IV chemotherapy prior to cellular therapy treatments Patient ratio of 1:3-4 Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30) Works every third weekend Required to cover a holiday cluster (2 major and minor holidays) May float to oncology or med/surg units within scope of experience No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, Chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC), and NIHSS OCN certification preferred for higher pay rate Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in stem cell therapy, oncology, and critical care required Previous travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Skilled in IV therapy, port access/management, and central line care Experience recognizing and managing oncologic emergencies (e.g., ATLS, sepsis, extravasation) Experience with chemotherapy administration and biotherapy preferred Additional Information Deliver comprehensive care to patients undergoing cellular therapy and chemotherapy treatments Recognize and manage side effects and oncologic emergencies related to cancer treatment Provide patient and family education and psychosocial support First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from all facility locations to be eligible Returning travelers are welcome back without any waiting period between contracts Maximum RTO (time off) allowed is 10 days and must be submitted with initial application American Traveler Job ID P-745950.
