Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand required Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - 18 months recent experience in specialty required - Must work at least every other holiday - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation Description: Position involves nursing responsibilities in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Nurses will be expected to work rotating shifts, either night or day. Candidates must possess significant experience in the specialty area. Travel experience will be considered for qualification. An acceptable score on assessments required during orientation. Nurses must comply with all necessary health and safety requirements. Background checks will be reviewed and must be clear. Nurses should be aware of annual competency requirements. Module completion may be necessary pre-start and annually. Continued employment may depend on meeting all competency and compliance standards.
