Multiple locations with the option of remote work Job Details We are looking for skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorneys with 3–15 years of experience to take ownership of a diverse caseload and handle all aspects of litigation from intake through resolution. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases involving workplace and employment injuries, while collaborating closely with experienced partners and a dedicated support team. As part of our firm, you will have access to mentorship, hands-on courtroom experience, and professional development resources designed to help you grow as a litigator. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to Kanoski Bresney’s ongoing philanthropic initiatives and community outreach programs focused on social justice and public service. Key Responsibilities: Independently manage a full docket of personal injury and employment injury cases.
Conduct thorough case investigations, fact gathering, and legal research.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and pre-/post-trial documents.
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Maintain regular and transparent communication with clients regarding case progress.
Collaborate with supervising partners, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure efficient and effective case management.
Participate in strategy discussions and contribute to the firm’s ongoing litigation best practices.
Uphold the firm’s core values of integrity, advocacy, and community engagement. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Illinois.
3–15 years of litigation and/or trial experience, preferably in personal injury or employment-related matters.
Proven experience representing clients before the Illinois Industrial Commission or similar administrative bodies is a plus.
Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Motivated self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
