Job Description

We're looking for assemblers (with electrical experience) to join our team in Shreveport, LA! Pay Rate: $18+ / hour

Weekday Day: 7am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) with some mandatory OT on Fridays

Weekday Night: 5pm - 3:30am (Monday - Friday) - $3 shift diff. with some mandatory OT on Friday night - Saturday

Weekend Shift: 5am - 5:30pm (Friday - Sunday) - $2.50 shift diff.

Job Summary: The Assembly and Test Operator is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. Responsibilities:

• Assemble components of all products, selecting the correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Ensure good housekeeping within own work area.
• Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to relating Risk Assessments.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or related experience.
• Must be mechanically adept; able to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and carry out written and oral instructions; write legibly.
• Experience working with assembly related operations or equivalent preferred.
