What’s a typical day as a Collections Representative? You’ll be:

• Contacting customers directly regarding payment on open accounts receivable.
• Identifying and resolving underlying issues delaying payment by coordinating with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Sales Support, Service, Tax, Logistics, and Accounts Receivable.
• Reconciling entered/invoiced orders to customer purchase orders and payments received.
• Preparing collection letters, spreadsheets, and customer account statements as needed.
• Recommending accounts to be charged off or placed with a third party for collection to the Treasury Supervisor.
• Producing summarized monthly accounts receivable aging reports, credit memo pending reports, and other reports as required.
• Alerting the primary Sr. Treasury Associate of any credit concerns.
• Meeting individual goals as established by management, such as reduction of dollars past due.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have prior experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role (required).
• Possess strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and organizational skills for preparing reports and reconciliations.
• Are comfortable working remotely and managing responsibilities independently.
• Are able to meet established goals and deadlines with a results-driven approach.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (preferred).
