ABOUT YOUR ROLE We're currently seeking a seasoned Account Supervisor with a keen interest in human performance and fitness. If you seek diverse client experiences, this role is your launchpad. As an Account Supervisor, you'll drive client success through a blend of media relations, strategic initiatives, and team management. Your proactiveness, strategic foresight, and confident execution will be key, along with your knack for securing high-impact media relations and achieving other client wins (e.g., successful execution of thought leadership initiatives). WHAT YOU BRING 6-7+ years of experience in the PR industry, preferably in CPG or fitness-related verticals; agency experience strongly preferred Proven history of building and executing strategic communications plans and briefs Mastery of strategic writing and editing high-stakes PR materials, backed by a working knowledge of AP-style best practices Advanced media relations skills with established relationships with key editorial contacts across tier 1 outlets and verticals Ability to oversee reporting, monitoring, and basic analytics projects Mastery of Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Gemini, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, and Slides) and Slack Expertise in account management and client services, paired with the desire and ability to understand client business models and product/service suites, including capacity to digest and understand technical subject matters Client material creation and client-facing verbal and written communication Workflow management and delegation Proven ability to develop rapport and trust with client contacts ranging from middle-management to C-suite and founders Strong competence in balancing and reconciling competing priorities, optimizing workflow delegation, and managing team resources to meet or exceed client expectations and deliverables Proven ability to motivate junior colleagues and inspire high-performing teams, contributing to team retention and career development Proven ability to independently counsel clients, manage expectations, and navigate complex client feedback Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored for senior stakeholders, client deliverables, and leadership alignment WHAT YOU’LL DO Client Service Leverage innovative thinking to provide proactive counsel to clients, spearheading strategic communication initiatives that transform business objectives into tangible marketing and PR victories. Be the strategic linchpin, partnering with account leadership to conceive integrated communications programs that not only compel audiences to act but also elevate the visibility of our clients' brand and category. Work hand-in-hand with client teams to establish KPIs, using measurable insights to evaluate the impact of our PR efforts on reputation, perception, and traffic. Staying ahead of client and competitor activity to ensure Jack Taylor delivers game-changing ideas and solutions. Create and deliver quarterly reports which communicate and appropriately highlight PR efforts and results to client stakeholders. Media Relations Develop dynamic strategies for national media to spotlight products, services, and compelling trend stories. Oversee macro media strategy, steering big-picture newsjacking and high-profile feature placements rather than just tactical story pitching Deliver high-caliber media programs including product launches, events and experiences, photoshoots, mailers and deskside tours from conception to execution to placement. Build a robust network with lifestyle, consumer tech, business, health and wellness, marketing, retail media, and other related verticals. Shape captivating client narratives with the goal of integrating clients into the broader news cycle and trending social conversations. Employ journalistic instincts to develop and edit high-quality written materials, including creative content, communications plans, thoughtful pitch narratives and expert advice. Strategic Writing Play a pivotal role in the development of comprehensive communications plans. Demonstrate advanced writing skills across all client materials and ability to edit/provide feedback to junior staff on their respective materials. Administrative Foster collaboration across practice and expertise areas to bring best thinking to clients. Keep a sharp eye on timelines, flagging any missed deadlines or stalled conversations to ensure seamless project management.
