As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by verifying credentials, managing visitor and employee access, monitoring entry points, and conducting routine patrols. Your visible presence, strong communication, and customer service will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access records.
• Control access for delivery vehicles and vendors in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate receiving, shipping, and designated areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
