The role involves providing IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. It requires working within classified programs, ensuring secure, cost‑efficient environments, and collaborating with cybersecurity professionals. What You Will Do Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. Understand and knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems. Understand RAID, data backup uses and technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements. Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures. Ensure systems are operational 24x7 and be prepared for work beyond standard hours. Travel up to 10% of the year to other U.S. domestic locations. Operate in a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality execution is critical. Full‑time 100% onsite position. Qualifications You Must Have University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with Linux or Windows operating systems. Experience with Active Directory, VMware, backup and recovery. Qualifications We Prefer DoD Directive 8140/8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent OS certification). Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF. Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies. Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes. Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, ESX, or other virtual computing methods. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
