We have a great opportunity for a Metal Fabricator to join our team.   As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing Parrell wheels. This role uses fabrication equipment and hand tools to produce accurate, high-quality parts while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work area.

Shift:  Monday – Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm

We are looking for an associate who:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, drill, grind, and shape metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, brakes, presses, punches, rollers, and grinders.
• Fit and assemble metal components using clamps, fixtures, fasteners, and other joining methods.
• Perform welding or tack welding when qualified and required for the assignment.
• Inspect completed work using tape measures, calipers, squares, gauges, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality.
• Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, and deviations from specifications.
• Complete required production, quality, and material documentation accurately.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Handle materials safely and assist with moving parts using approved lifting equipment.
• Work cooperatively with production, welding, quality, maintenance, and engineering personnel to meet schedule and quality goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, kneel, squat, push, and pull.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with assistance or lifting equipment used for heavier items.
• Ability to use hands and arms to handle tools, materials, and controls.
• Visual ability sufficient to read drawings, take measurements, and inspect work for accuracy and defects.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, protective footwear, welding protection, and respiratory protection when applicable.

What you bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or related experience preferred; equivalent training may be considered.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, shop drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
• Working knowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and safe material-handling practices.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic shop math, including fractions and decimals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Technical school coursework or certification in welding, machining, or metal fabrication.
• Experience with MIG or TIG welding.
• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other powered material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
