Wieland is hiring a CNC Production Operator . The CNC Production Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting parts prints, using manual gauging, and meeting production rates and quality standards is helpful; however, training is provided for qualified individuals. This role is located in Lima, Ohio and will be fully on-site.


Starting Pay: $25.32

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM or Sunday - Thursday 11:00PM - 7:00AM (Training period Monday - Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM)

Pay Schedule: Weekly (Friday)

Responsibilities

CNC Production Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.

CNC Production Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC Experience
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
