Position Description Ryder is hiring a Class C Truck Driver in Kent, WA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Drivers average $1120 weekly - and it gets better. Driver positions pay weekly Hourly pay: $28.00 per hour Hours per week: 40 + hours per week Hotel & meals provided for overnights Schedule: Monday–Friday; some weekends Start time: 7:00 AM Responsibilities Safely drive a vehicle and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards. Maintain accurate records, load/unload freight, or assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder drug test Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in similar equipment if position requires operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 months of experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years of experience within the last 10 years Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check, a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
