Description:
- Performs assembly duties using assembly devices such as drills, rivets, staplers, air drivers, and nut runners.
- Operates ultrasonic and solvent bonding equipment.
- Works with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric tools, or combinations thereof.
- Packages finished or in-process materials.
- Conducts in-process inspection and checking.
- Moves material within the department as required.
- Ability to safely operate drills, rivet guns, staplers, air drivers, and nut runners.
- Ability to identify defects or deviations during in-process inspection.
- Ability to read and follow assembly specifications/work instructions for checking work.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials within the department.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity for precision assembly tasks.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. As a condition of employment, employees are required to join the union after 30 days of employment.
