- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients within inpatient and outpatient environments and create tailored treatment plans.
- Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality.
- Work closely with a diverse team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families about therapy objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercise recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following institutional and regulatory protocols.
- Engage in collaborative team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Preferred: CPR certification
- Additional certifications (e.g., neurology, geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Prior professional experience is highly valued.
- Capability to assist patients with complex medical conditions and mobility challenges.
- Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
