Outpatient RN

To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. Primary position responsibilities include initial intake, patient room preparation, before and after care, patient order, point of care, patient safety, and attending staff meetings. Supervises clinical staff in the absence of the nurse supervisor/manager.

Qualifications: Minimum education required is a nursing diploma. An associate’s degree in nursing is preferred. Minimum years of experience required is none. Preferred experience is also none. License, registry, or certification required includes a graduate from an accredited nursing school, current New Jersey RN license, and CPR certification or obtain certification within 6 months. Knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required include good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients. Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities are not specified.
