Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backed About the Role The Company is in search of a Vice President of Asset Management to spearhead the strategic and operational aspects of its commercial real estate portfolio. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving both asset-level and portfolio-level performance throughout the investment lifecycle, with a focus on maximizing value, cash flow, and long-term returns. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing asset management strategies, overseeing business plans, and actively participating in leasing and monetization activities. A key part of the role is to identify and act on risks and opportunities, as well as to maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics to inform decision-making. The VP will also be a champion of disciplined capital allocation and support ESG and sustainability initiatives. Applicants for the Vice President of Asset Management position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for an MBA or master’s degree. A minimum of 7-10 years' of progressive leadership experience in asset management, real estate investment, or portfolio management is required, with a strong background in financial acumen, leasing strategy, and managing value-add initiatives. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as a hands-on, problem-solving approach. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling is essential, and experience with asset management systems is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating with internal teams, managing external partners, and will be adept at leveraging technology to support asset performance and decision-making.
