About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Postpartum Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years clinical experience required, including a minimum of 3 years in specialty. License: Current state nursing license required. Certifications: NRP, CPR/BCLS (AHA or ARC only) required. Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred. Preferred certifications: CLE, IBCLC. Description: Provide care in the Mother-Baby/Well Baby Nursery. Manage patients post-vaginal and cesarean section deliveries. Care for patients with gestational hypertension and those receiving magnesium sulfate. Work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3. Assist with lactation support. Resume primary care responsibilities as needed. Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the dress code. Document patient information using the designated documentation system. Coordinate with support staff, including respiratory and anesthesia services. Participate in unit-specific procedures and protocols as required. Contribute to a collaborative and compassionate patient care environment.
