Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Full-time Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Full-time Location Name: Royal Oak Country Grocer Royal Oak is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! Our ideal candidate is someone with previous warehouse experience and a “roll up your sleeves, get the job done” attitude! About the Job: Receive all orders for Bakery, Deli, Meat, Grocery and Produce departments Clean and maintain an orderly Dock area Receive and check off orders against packing slips in accordance with company policies Maintain accurate log of discrepancies between ordered and received product, as well as any damage claims Safely operate a power jack and forklift Stock shelves, rotate and face products, build end displays Maintain working order of cardboard bailer Ensure that high standards are set and maintained for all safety issues Perform other duties as required About You: Ability to work from 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday A desire to provide outstanding customer service to our loyal customers A high level of motivation and a proactive attitude A heightened attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure An ability to operate computer programs An ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions and manage time A willingness to work both autonomously and with at team A desire to comply with established department procedures and safe work practices A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback Starting Range: $21.50-$23.50 Most new team members start within this range, depending on their experience and skills.
