Family Medicine PhysicianLong Island City, NYCompensation: $210,000 per yearA community healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join its health center in Long Island City, New York. This direct-hire position provides comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population spanning pediatric, adolescent and adult care, working in both a clinic setting and partner community sites to deliver full-scope family medicine, supervise advanced practice providers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to advance health equity and preventive care in the community.ScheduleFull time, permanent, direct hire. Includes rotated shared call coverage.Compensation$210,000 per year guaranteed base salary.What You'll DoThis role provides primary medical care, comprehensive well-care examinations, physicals and gynecological care across pediatric, adolescent and adult patient populations, diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, writing prescriptions and informing patients regarding prescribed treatment plans. The physician directs the course of patient medical treatment, answers clinical inquiries and manages electronic health record documentation, and supervises Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with collaborative practice agreements, providing clinical guidance and technical support.
