Dietary Aide-Food & Nutrition-Part Time-Day-Mount Sinai Queens

Prepare and serve patient food trays. Handles food production and preparing for special functions. Handles dishwashing and sanitation

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED

• Experience: Food handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Portions out and plates food truck and serves

• Heats patient food, transport food truck and serves meals to patients

• Prepares sandwiches for cafeteria and special functions

• Registers customer orders & transacts with money, Accountable for over/under of register

• Wipes down tables, chairs, tray line, counters, shelves

• Prepares salad for the salad bar, wraps cakes and pastries

• Sets up the counter for breakfast and lunch. Serves breakfast and lunch

• Serve and replenish hot and cold food in cafeteria

• Assist in the preparation of special functions

• Sets up and washes all pots, pans, empties garbage cans

• Keeps the floor and sinks clean, empties garbage cans

• Rotates, label, dates and puts deliveries away

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $24.5999 - $26.4961 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
