As the plant maintenance mechanic reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the Maintenance team. You will be responsible for all tasks related to predictive and preventative maintenance programs. Tasks include repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors, compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. What You’ll Do: Maintains production and quality by ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; safely using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories What You’ll Bring: Associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent combination of experience and education. At least 5 years of heavy industrial mechanical and millwright experience in a continuous operating (24/7) manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and continual diligence about follow-up. Knowledgeable of root cause and fault free analysis techniques Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment What You’ll Receive: As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $37.60 to $47.99 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and internal equity and may change over time. This position qualifies for benefits and you will be eligible to participate in a bonus plan.
