Physician Assistant OpportunityThe Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton, a part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system, is seeking a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Longwood Specialty Physicians at its site in Milton, MA.Provide direct patient care including physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician.Responsibilities include:40,000 annual ED visitsPatient management / physician support in main EDManage Fast Track and BHU patientsJob Requirements:Master's degree in Physician AssistantMassachusetts state licensureMA Board authorization to practice licensureAmerican Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life SupportCertification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not requiredValid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEAExperience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care CenterCompetency in provision of care to patients of all agesBIDH Milton is an 81-bed community hospital located 9 miles south of Boston. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
