If you're driven to deliver excellent outcomes and grow your expertise in cardiac nursing you've found your next home.Position OverviewAs a Progressive Care/Cardiac Telemetry RN, you'll be part of a unit that manages patients with CHF, Afib, chronic renal failure, and other complex comorbidities without ICU/PCU level requirements. This role offers diverse clinical experience in a structured, team-focused environment.What You'll Do:Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient populationMonitor cardiac rhythms and manage chronic cardiac/renal medical conditionsAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by the providerCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality outcomes and safe dischargesDocument all assessments, interventions, and care activities thoroughly and timelyEducate patients and families on condition management and follow-up careRequirements:Active RN license in Florida or compact state (FL license required within 60 days of hire) ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred 1+ year of recent RN experience hospital, LTACH, home health, or rehab accepted BLS (AHA) required Strong critical thinking, documentation, and patient advocacy skillsSchedule Details:Day Shift Rotating Weekends Night Shift Rotating WeekendsUnit Snapshot:50-bed cardiac medical floorLocated on the 5th floorAverage length of stay: 5 daysCurrent nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1 (transitioning to 5:1)Compensation & Perks:Base Pay Range: $30.76 $41.50/hr (Based on years of experience) Night Differential: +$4.75/hr Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hr National Certification Bonus: +$2.00/hrSign-On Bonuses:$10,000 for Day Shift$15,000 for Night Shift 2% paid on first or second paycheck; remaining paid in 6-month incrementsRelocation Assistance: Offered on a case-by-case basisWhy Choose Global Placement Firm?At Global Placement Firm, we focus on more than just placements we're here to empower your career path.
