Geospatial Project Manager

Supporting the Department of Homeland Security, the full-time remote Geospatial Project Manager will provide programmatic support, manage large-scale geospatial data and application capabilities, and implement geospatial information technology solutions. Key responsibilities: Provide subject matter guidance and programmatic support to the DHS GMO on geospatial data management and coordination Develop and implement plans and policies for managing geospatial information infrastructure requirements across various projects Lead small teams and implement geospatial technology solutions while providing tactical recommendations to improve processes and outcomes Required qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field 12+ years of specialized GIS/Project Manager experience Active PMP certification Proficiency in managing teams using industry standards and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall Experience with geospatial information technology solutions in the context of homeland security and emergency management
