Project Engineer

Project EngineerAs a Project Engineer for Doka USA, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with our clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the successful implementation of formwork and shoring solutions that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations. This role will be based out of our Southwest branch located in Tomball, TX and will report into our Engineering Manager. This will be an on-site position.Key responsibilities include:Working closely with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.Developing detailed plans and designs for formwork and shoring systems based on project specifications and structural requirements and utilizing industry-standard software and tools (i.e., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create accurate drawings, models, and calculations.Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams and clients regarding formwork and shoring solutions.Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to address technical challenges and optimize project performance.Identifying and selecting appropriate formwork and shoring materials based on project requirements, budget constraints, and site conditions.Ensuring that formwork and shoring systems comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks or delays, and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.Qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in formwork and shoring design, preferably in the construction industry.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural analysis tools, and project management software.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Professional Engineer (PE) license a major plus.Doka offers terrific career opportunities, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account, company paid life insurance, supplemental voluntary term life insurance, 401k retirement plan (Roth and Non-Roth), short-term disability, AFLAC policies, paid time off (sick/personal, vacation, floating holiday and company paid holidays) and an exciting opportunity to join as a member of Doka's team.If working with some of the most impressive construction projects in the US and joining an industry leader excites you, please submit your resume by clicking below.
