Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED). This is a 02+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite).

Job ID:26-14458 Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Benefits: Travel pay package Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with emergent conditions.
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, manage wounds, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and neurological status; respond to changes promptly.
• Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff for seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and ED best practices.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Registered Nurse, RN, Emergency Department, ED, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Active RN License (GA or Compact State)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within emergency department specialty
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to work 12-hour evening/mid shifts (schedule varies), 36 hours guaranteed per week
• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Excellent rapid assessment and triage decision-making
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and emergency protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork under pressure
• Compassionate, patient-first mindset even in crisis situations
• Ability to handle high acuity and fast patient turnover
