TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29425!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, with experience in circulating complex cardiac cases, general OR cases, and vascular cases. License: Must hold a valid South Carolina or multi-state RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must be AHA certified) Must-Have: Must be able to circulate complex cardiac cases and has experience with the following types of cases: - CABG - TAVR - LVAD - Impella - Valve surgeries - Heart and lung transplants Description: Candidates are required to work three 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. On-call requirements include 5-8 calls per month, with holiday call possibly required. Experience circulating complex cardiac procedures is essential, as is experience with general OR and vascular cases. This position involves a variety of case types including CABG, TAVR, LVAD, and heart transplants. First-time travelers are accepted only if they have at least 5 years of experience. A radiation badge will be provided for use during the contract. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. All required time off should be disclosed at the time of submission. Compliance with pre-start requirements is expected prior to the start of the contract. Candidates should have experience with the charting system used in the facility. Available support includes interdisciplinary teams and various clinical services. The facility is a Level I trauma center and a teaching facility, staffing is necessary for a variety of patient groups. Preferred candidates should have previous charge experience and familiarity with community hospital settings. The facility operates with a standard patient ratio and census expectations during shifts.
