Hours: 1st shift Days: Monday-Friday Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection requirements, including GD&T. Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, comparators, and other inspection tools. Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections to verify product conformance. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Identify and report quality issues, discrepancies, and non-conforming material. Participate in material review board (MRB) activities and corrective action processes as required. Support compliance with company quality management systems and applicable industry standards. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection and quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or coursework in manufacturing, quality, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments. Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances. Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspections. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic quality documentation systems.
