The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of experience in acute care within the last three years, particularly in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios ranging from 1:10 to 1:14. Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients.
- Report abnormal findings and obtain vital signs.
- Ensure safe patient transfers and perform other supportive tasks.
- Provide care to adults and geriatric patients.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Utilize electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Must possess a valid Oregon CNA license, active and in hand at the time of application.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved organization is required.
- 12+ months of recent experience as a CNA in an acute care setting.
- Ability to work weekends and float to different departments as needed.
- Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care, Magnet-designated, Teaching hospital, Level II Trauma Center.
