Infection Control RN & Staff Educator

Infection Control Preventionist & Staff Educator Position: Full‑time, located at our 5‑star CCRC in West Caldwell. General Responsibilities Primary responsibility for the development, implementation and administration of organization‑wide systems for the prevention and control of infections, while maintaining compliance with accrediting, licensing and governing agency expectations related to infection prevention and control program. She/he assesses the educational needs of the staff and develops and implements training programs to meet those needs. Basic Qualifications BSN with current RN license. MSN or MPH preferred. Association for Practitioners in Infection Control (APIC) training course, Infection Preventionist training or equivalent is required. Previous experience in teaching, curriculum development and instruction design is desired. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is preferred. Minimum of five years clinical experience in a hospital or long‑term care setting or disease surveillance experience in a public health setting. Benefits Flexible pay – accessing your pay anytime!
