Job Duties

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards
• Verify product quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation for accuracy
• Generate shipping labels and process shipments using carrier and freight systems
• Coordinate with customer service regarding special shipping requirements and delivery updates
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems
• Inspect packages for proper labeling and carrier compliance
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to support a safe workplace

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional training in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management is a plus
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or logistics
• Experience using shipping software, carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, LTL Freight), or ERP systems is a plus
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email applications
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet shipping deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
• Ability to safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
• Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and safety standards

What You Will Do


As a Shipping Clerk you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.

A Shipping Clerk supports warehouse efficiency by receiving incoming products, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining organized inventory. This role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
