As a Physical Therapist Assistant at JAG Healthcare, you'll help residents improve their strength, mobility, balance, and independence. Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you'll carry out personalized treatment plans designed to help each resident reach meaningful goals. Whether you're helping someone regain mobility following an illness, injury, or surgery, or supporting them as they maintain their current abilities, your encouragement and expertise can make every step forward feel like a victory. # WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide Hands-On Therapy Carry out individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Improve Strength & Mobility Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve movement, balance, coordination, endurance, and overall function. Track Resident Progress Observe residents during therapy, document their responses and progress, and communicate important updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. Encourage Independence Motivate residents as they work toward greater confidence and independence with walking, transfers, and other daily movements. Collaborate with the Care Team Work alongside Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and other members of our team to provide coordinated, resident-centered care. # WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting is preferred but not required
