About the Role:
Bright Horizon Care LLC is looking for an experienced and driven Mitigation Lead Technician to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise mitigation crews on water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation job sites
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and containment setup
• Monitor and document drying progress using moisture meters, thermal imaging, and drying equipment
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols
• Communicate job status updates to project managers and clients professionally
• Train and mentor junior technicians on mitigation best practices and equipment use
• Maintain, inspect, and transport mitigation equipment and company vehicles

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation/restoration
• IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification preferred
• Proven ability to lead a crew and manage job site operations independently
• Proficiency with drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and moisture detection tools
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
• Availability for on-call and emergency response shifts as needed
