Travel Therapy - Physical Therapist

Fusion Medical Staffing – Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Bullhead City, Arizona. The position begins ASAP and includes 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities and Duties Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment and modalities, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes. Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to stay current with best practices. Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home‑based settings. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Arizona. Doctorate degree in physical therapy; new graduates are welcome to apply. Clinical experience in hospitals, clinics, or rehabilitation settings is required. Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and patient‑care skills. Proficient in physical therapy modalities and equipment use. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move around, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend. Mental Requirements Must cope with frequent contact with the general public while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must work under close supervision occasionally, as well as independently.
