Survey Party Chief

Party Chief Archer Western is currently seeking a Party Chief for the TSENC, 225175 NC197 PDB, in Burnsville, NC. The Party Chief's primary function is to supervise members of the survey crew and perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with jobsite survey manager. Responsibilities Oversee field surveying tasks such as topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection Ability to coordinate with survey manager, that may be offsite, and with project management staff for daily operations Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology May be required to work as a one-person crew; May perform other related duties as required Qualifications 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening The Walsh Group, Ltd. is committed to providing equal opportunity to qualified applicants with disabilities to compete for jobs.
